DISCIPLINE AND COLLEGE UNIFORM

Code of Conduct for Students

In order to ensure decorum, discipline and dignity among the students, it is essential for them to:

a. Attend the college in complete uniform

b. Be on time for the classes

c. Leave the college at the prescribed time only and not before it

d. Keep their bicycles/motorcycles locked within the enclosure at the cycle stand

e. Be polite, respectful towards all the members of faculty and non-teaching staff.

The Students are Forbidden to:

a. Use violence, threat or pressure for settlement of different disputes with their fellow students.

b. Indulge in agitation of any kind.

c. Indulge in the use of unfair means and malpractice in the Board/University as well as College Examinations.

d. Bring any unauthorized persons in the college (friends or relatives)

e. Bring into the campus, consume or arrange the drugs, narcotics, cigarettes etc.

f. Damage and disfigure college property including building, furniture fixtures, equipment and vehicles and write remarks/slogan on the college walls/notice board, exhibit or distribute leaflets pamphlets in the college.

g. Wander and indulge in unbecoming activities in the college and/or bring valuables in the college.

Bring mobile/cellular phones in the college. If a mobile phone is found, it shall be confiscated and will be returned to parents only at the end of session, after payment of a fine of Five hundred Rupees.

Responsibility of Parents

Parents are expected to share their responsibility in terms of monitoring students' academic progress and social grooming. They are expected to:

a. Remain in constant touch with the college administration through respective class teachers.

b. Visit the college when invited/called upon by college administration.

c. Inform the college administration if their postal address or telephone number changes

d. Attend all PTMs as per the schedule.

College Uniform

a. Summer

White shirt (full sleeves), dark grey trousers and Oxford shoes (black) with black/grey socks, black belt with simple plain buckle and maroon necktie with aqua blue stripes for HSSC students and black necktie with aqua blue wide lining for Students.

b. Winter

White shirt (full sleeves), dark grey trousers, navy blue (V neck) jersey/blazer Oxford shoes with black/grey socks, black belt with simple plain buckle and maroon necktie with aqua blue stripes for HSSC students and black necktie with aqua blue wide lining for BS students.

Note: Jackets joggers and Jeans are not allowed.

c. Haircut

The students are required to get a soldier-cut twice a month. In case of beard, it must be properly trimmed or maintained according to Sunnah. No distorted form of beard allowed.

d. Proctorial Board

The Proctorial Board ensures discipline and implementation of rules and regulations in the college. The Board is authorized to impose fine, suggest suspension/rustication of the students who violate college rules and regulations.
